Bermuda is home to some of the world’s most magnificent beaches. They are world famous for the pretty pink sand that you can sink your toes into. There is simply an endless list of places to visit and enjoy the pristine blue waters. Take your pick at one of these beaches.

Elbow Beach – One of the most popular Bermuda beaches that has a nearby resort, which takes after its name. This is also the nearest beach to the city of Hamilton. It has an offshore reef that is open to the public for snorkelling though half of the beach is exclusive to the guests of the Elbow Beach Hotel. This beach is also touted as the best for swimming.

Warwick Long Bay – This beach located in Warwick Parish is best known for its breathtaking coral formations. People seem to enjoy the seclusion of what happens to be the longest strand in Bermuda.

Astwood Cove – This secluded beach in Warwick Parish is situated under a cliff. Perfect for a picnic lunch and tree hikes in the nearby Astwood Tree Park. There are also apartments and nice bed and breakfasts for rent within safe walking distance.

Church Bay – This beach is best for both sunbathing and snorkelling along its magnificent coral cliffs. One can enjoy an array of marine life as the corals make it conducive for such to flourish.

Horseshoe Bay – This is very popular with families as it offers complete amenities for a fun filled day at the beach. It also takes pride with a lifeguard around all summer long. As one would say, fun and safety should go hand in hand.

Chaplin Bay – A warm breeze and bright sun envelopes this little piece of heaven which is perfect for a quiet afternoon with a cold fruit plate and a book. There are also two large rock formations that are perfect for rock climbing. The best time to visit this sanctuary is during low tide as it is almost always underwater during high tide.

Shelly Bay – This Bermuda Beach one is best for the young ones. Kids will just love the blue green waters shallow enough for them to enjoy without their parents worrying about safety. There are a lot of gears for rent to maximize fun in this paradise, from sailboats to snorkels. Exploring the tidal pool is a must and there are plenty of places to dine in just within reach.

As you can see, there are many beautiful Bermuda beaches just waiting for you to explore during your Bermuda cruise vacation!
